Walking Together for a Cure: Our Team Joins the Breakthrough T1D Walk
Rainier Clinical Research Center is committed to advancing medicine and that goes beyond the clinic. This season, we’re proud to take part in the Breakthrough T1D Walk (or Beat the Bridge as it’s called in Seattle!), which is a powerful community event dedicated to raising awareness and accelerating research for type 1 diabetes (T1D).
Supporting a Global Movement
Beat the Bridge is more than just a local event… it’s part of a nationwide movement that brings together thousands of individuals, families, researchers, and advocates. Each year, these walks help fund critical research, drive advocacy, and support advancements aimed at improving lives and ultimately finding a cure.
Participants walk not only for themselves, but for loved ones, patients, and future generations impacted by T1D. Every step represents progress.
Why This Matters to Us
As a clinical research center, we work closely with individuals affected by chronic conditions, including diabetes. Participating in the Breakthrough T1D Walk allows us to stand alongside the community we serve outside of the clinical setting and show our support in a meaningful, visible way.
Our team understands that research is only one piece of the puzzle. Community, awareness, and advocacy are equally important in driving change.
A Day of Community and Connection
The Walk is a family-friendly, high-energy event that brings people together in a shared mission. From patients and caregivers to healthcare professionals and supporters, the event creates space for connection, inspiration, and hope.
Events like this highlight the strength of the T1D community and reinforce the importance of continued research and collaboration.
Join Us or Support Our Team
We’re honored to have a team participating this year and invite our community to get involved. Whether you walk alongside us, donate, or help spread awareness, your support contributes to meaningful progress in T1D research.
Together, we can help move science forward and bring us closer to a future without type 1 diabetes.
