| HIGH CHOLESTEROL |

1.  We are currently seeking volunteers currently on cholesterol medication who have moderately to severely high cholesterol. This is a study of an investigational medication to help lower LDL cholesterol levels. Participants will be entered into one of out of five groups. Four out of five of the participants will receive the investigational medication in combination with their cholesterol medication. One out of five of the participants will remain only on their cholesterol medication. |
| Study Length: 12 visits over 1 ½ years |
| Target Age: 18+ years old |
| Benefits: All participants will be supplied study medication, physical exams, lab work, EKG’s, and supplies. |
| Stipend: $40 for each completed visit |

| 2. We are currently seeking volunteers who had mild to severely high cholesterol. This is a study of an investigational medication to help lower cholesterol levels. This investigational medication is designed to lower LDL (bad) cholesterol levels. Participants will be entered into one out of fifteen groups. Eight out of fifteen of the participants will receive the investigational medication in combination with Lipitor. Two out of fifteen of the participants will receive the investigational medication alone. Four out of fifteen of the participants will take Lipitor alone. One out of seven will be on placebo. |
