Heart Disease Prevention

1. We are currently seeking volunteers who have previously had a heart attack. This is a study of an investigational medication that may stop future cardiovascular problems and stop the future onset of diabetes. Two out of three participants will add the investigational medication and one out of three will add a placebo.

    

   Study Length: 4 years and will require at least 23 appointments
   Target Age: 18+
   Benefits: All participants will receive study medication, physical exams, EKG's, and lab work at no cost.
   Stipend: $40 for completion of each visit.
