| DIABETIC COMPLICATION STUDIES |
|
1.  We are currently seeking volunteer with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes and experience moderate to severe pain in the feet or legs, caused by diabetic neuropathy (numbness, tingling, or pain). This is a study of new investigational pharmaceutical treatment that may help to slow down or stop the progression of neuropathy. Two out of three of the participants will be on the study medication and one out of three will be given a placebo. |
| Study Length: 10 visits over 14 months |
| Target Age: 18-70 years old |
| Benefits: All participants will be supplied study medication, physical exams, lab work, EKG’s, eye exams, and other medical exams. |
| Stipend: $2100 for study completion. |
