| DIABETES STUDIES |

3.  We are currently seeking individuals with Type 2 diabetes who have been controlling their diabetes with either diet and exercise or Metformin (Glucophage) alone. This is a study of an investigational medication that may help to lower blood sugars. Participants will remain on their medications during the study. Two out of four of the participants will add the investigational study medication. One out of four will add Actos and one out four will add placebo.
Study Length: 10 visits over 10 weeks
Target Age: 18 - 70 years old
Benefits: All participants will be supplied study medication, physical exams, and lab work.
Stipend: $600 for study completion |

4. We are currently seeking volunteers with Type 2 diabetes who have been controlling their diabetes with diet and exercise alone or oral diabetes medications. This is a study of an investigational medication that may help to lower blood sugars. Two out of three participants will add the investigational medication. One out of three will add a placebo.
Study Length: 8 visits over 31 weeks
Target Age: 18 - 70 years old
Benefits: All participants will be supplied study medication, physical exams, EKG’s, glucose meter, supplies, and lab work.
Stipend: $40 for time and travel. |
